Dr. Noushin Vastani, a double board-certified seasoned healthcare professional with extensive clinical and research experience, strives to deliver exceptional care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
Through personal and professional experiences, Dr. Vastani saw a need for therapeutic spaces that not only recognized but celebrated all parts of clients’ identities. She is passionate about dismantling negative stigmas surrounding mental health care and providing safe spaces for those who have been negatively impacted.
Dr. Vastani is passionate about repairing and healing through a collaborative, trauma-informed approach. She also strives for advocacy inside and outside of the therapeutic space, dedicated to making long-lasting change. She practices cultural humility and growth by exercising curiosity and an eagerness to learn.
Dr. Vastani brings a wealth of experience garnered over several years in the field of healthcare. Her professional journey has been dedicated to serving as a healthcare provider and professor, where she has had the privilege of making meaningful impacts on the lives of patients and students.
Her specialization lies at the intersection of various healthcare domains. Within acute & primary care, she has honed in on her skills in managing critical conditions, providing interventions, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care during emergent situations. She has been fortunate to have fostered long-term relationships with patients, emphasizing preventive and holistic wellness.
A significant portion of Dr. Vastani's passion has been dedicated to psychiatric and mental health. She possesses a deep understanding of mental health disorders and the intricacies of providing compassionate care to individuals facing these challenges. Dr. Vastani also serves as a graduate professor for Brenau University at the Ivester College of Health Sciences. She is a member of several health-related organizations, including the American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In 2019, Today's Nurse recognized her as a “Top Family Nurse Practitioner in Suwanee, Georgia.”
